OATH OF DISCIPLINE

Oath for Referees and Judges
As each official Gatka Championship commences, Gatka’s dedicated officials solemnly pledge to fulfill their roles with utmost fairness, integrity, and transparency. They commit to diligently observe and implement all the rules, regulations, and conditions of the tournament as stipulated by the WGF and NGAI. During the opening ceremony, one distinguished representative from the host District/State/Country will take this solemn oath on behalf of all Gatka officials. Holding a corner of the Gatka Federation/Gatka Association’s Flag, the selected official will recite the following oath:

Oath:
“In the name of all Referees, Judges, and Officials, I solemnly swear that we shall perform our duties of refereeship and judgement in the ———(name of tournament)— Gatka Tournament/Cup with unwavering impartiality, adhering to the rules that govern this competition, all in the true spirit of sportsmanship.”

Oath for Players
At the outset of every official Gatka tournament or championship, each Gatka player undertakes a solemn oath, vowing to compete with fairness and integrity, and to faithfully adhere to all the rules, regulations, and conditions of the tournament set forth by the WGF and NGAI. During the opening ceremonies, one dedicated Gatka player from the host District/State/Country assumes the responsibility of taking this oath on behalf of all Gatka competitors. Holding a corner of the NGAI Flag, the chosen Gatka player recites the following pledge:
Oath:
“In the name of all Gatka competitors, I promise and affirm that we will participate in the ——————- Gatka tournament with the utmost respect for and compliance with all the directives, rules, regulations, and conditions that govern this competition. We commit to engaging in this sport without the use of doping or drugs, aspiring to partake in this event in the true spirit of sportsmanship. We are dedicated to upholding the standards of discipline, all for the honor of our Nation and for the glory of the Gatka sport.”
